There’s no one who wants to be adopted more than this old guy, Gramps. With everyone he meets, he seems to cry “Adopt me, please!” with his eyes.

He’s friendly to everyone. He loves people. He loves to be petted. And he’s fully capable of adoring other dogs as well.

The only catch with this old sweetheart is he takes medicine for his arthritis. He was found as a stray, and brought to a shelter in California, so we don’t know whether this angel has ever had a home.

The work of Best Friends is supported entirely through the donations of members, who help to ensure that animals who come into the care of Best Friends will never again be alone, hungry, sick, afraid, or in pain.
